You nearly run into said critter.

"Hi!" he says, ignoring the fact that you nearly slammed into his leg. "My name is Iqueu'Oruh, but you can call me I.O. for short." He smiles a toothy smile. "Hey, it's better than 'Ick'. Hm, you look thirsty." He raises a claw and a bubbling fountain appears in the rock face. "Take a drink."

Surprised, but thirsty, you drink from the fountain and express your thanks.

"Hey, no problem."

You spend a few minutes chatting with I.O., then it was time to move on. Draco could take you to meet the next one, or he could take you back down the mountain.
