Hunter Cats

You decide that Hunter Cats sound interesting. The first critter you meet watched as you approach.

"Mm, a Traveler," he says. "I'm Garron, a Feline Whorling from the EverRealm."

"I thought this was an area for Hunter Cats," you say.

"It is, however, Hunter Cats are non-sentient and cannot speak except in feline. I'm their translator."

You understand now, and ask Garron to introduce you to the Hunter Cats. He stands, stretches, then walks away.

"This is Chase," says Garron.

Chase speaks to Garron in feline, to which the Whorling replies, "Yes, this is a Traveler."

Chase gives a meow and scurries off, possibly off to tell everyone you were coming. Soon after, another Hunter Cat drops from the sky.

"Ah, this is Atalanta. She's an Elemental. Can you guess which?"

Atalanta flutters her wings and smiles at you. "Air?" you guess, and she purrs and rubs up against your leg.

"Correct," says Garron. "There are two more Elementals here. Here they come."

"Fire Elementals?" you ask.

The one with the fiery purple wings draws herself up proudly while the other tilts his head to one side.

"Spiritfire and Fire, yes," says Garron. "They are Kamali and Taipa, respectively."

There was a meow and another Hunter Cat drops from the sky.

"That's Herne."

"Is he an Elemental, too?"

"Nah, he just has wings. He wants you to scratch behind his ears."

You oblige. Garron says, "Let's go, or you can go back or visit the Wris'Talorol, Whorlings, the Tigons, Mequis, or the Wynds of Change, War, Warp, or Mage."
