"Hi," he says. "I'm Indivar. Welcome." He smiles. "Met Keir yet?"

Keir was lying in a clearing, watching leaves fall from the trees.

"Hi," he says. "Watch this, this is neat. Look up."

"Humor him," Ranger whispers to you.

You clear your throat and look up. Something flits through the trees and knocks a small branch off.

"What was that?" you ask.

Keir grins. "Probably one of the Whorlings coming around."

"They do that," says a new, smaller Leagus.

"Hi!" she says brightly. "I'm Brynn. Can't stay to chat, though. Gots to go!" She bounds away.

Ranger sighs. "Well, Traveler. I can take you forward or back if you want."
