Whorlings You and Tahmores keep walking. The next Whorling you encounter -- a Canine -- eyes you suspiciously.
"That's Zayit," says Tahmores. "She's a little territorial, so it's best to stay well back." You did notice that Zayit was giving you a rather hostile look, so you just wave in her direction. Zayit flicks an ear and watches you carefully. Tahmores tells you, "Best to leave her alone, Traveler. Come, there are more." The next Whorling Tahmores leads you to looks friendlier. This one was a Weezle with rather unusual spines down her neck.
"Hello, Traveler," she says. "I apologize for Zayit. She doesn't trust strangers." "You get a lot of that around here," says a new voice and you turn to see a Gryphon Whorling smiling at you.
"Hiya. My name is Midori. And that's Bluebeak behind you."
"Hi," he says. While you're busy admiring his shiny blue beak, you fail to notice the Feline Whorling sneaking up behind you. That is, until you find yourself face-to-face with a snake head and you leap back in surprise.
"Woop, sorry," says the Feline the head is connected to. You could tell she was trying to hold back laughter, though the snake on her back seemed to be hissing with it. Tahmores steps next to you. "Kin likes to surprise people like that." He glared at her. Kin glared right back. "Hey, Medusa's just having a little fun, yanno?" At your confused look, she explains, "Medusa's what I call her." She tilts her head in the direction of the snake bobbing around her neck. "Oh, I see," you say. "Anyway," Tahmores says, "From here, you can either move on, go back or visit the Wris'Talorol, Tigons, Hunter Cats, Mequis, or the Wynds of Change, War, Warp, or Mage."
