Artist's Notes: Those who have been the victim of almost drowning tell
stories of a creature rescuing them by pushing them to the surface and guiding
them to shore, although none can confirm this, for whenever they turn to thank
their savior, it has once again vanished beneath the waves.
Atlantis is a mernicorn (mermaid-unicorn). She was created, I believe, back
when I was around 14 years old.
